MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />October 16, 197Z <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:04 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Hall Annex, 530 North Ross Street, with the following Councilmen present: Vernon <br />So Evans, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, 3erry M. Patterson, Ray Villa, Harry <br />K. Yamamoto, and Mayor Lorin Griset. Also present were City Manager Bruce <br />C. Spragg, Acting City Attorney Charles J. Liberto, Acting Director of Planning <br />Charles Co Zimmerman, Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, and Clerk of <br />the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />MINUTES The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br /> October 2, 197Z were approved as <br /> submitted, on motion of Councilman <br />Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Villa, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />all Councilmen present. <br /> <br />At 4:06 P.M., Council recessed to <br />convene the Housing Authority. The <br />meeting reconvened at 4:Z8 P.M. with <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda items were <br /> removed from the Consent Calendar: <br /> Item 3A requested by Councilman <br />Herrin; Item 5C requested by Councilman Yaxnamoto; Item 7D requested by Mayor <br />Oriset; and Items ZA, 5B, SD, SE, 8, 9A, 14A, 14B and 14C requested by Council- <br />man Markel. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Patterson, and unanimously <br />carried, Council affirmed the recommended action on the following Consent Calendar <br />items: <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifications, and <br />authorized advertisement for bids on <br />the following: <br /> <br />PROJECT T-3041 (148) - Installation of traffi~ signal and <br />street lighting system at Bristol Street and the Garden <br />Grove Freeway Eastbound Off-Ramp, modification of <br />existing traffic signal systems at the Garden Grove <br />Freeway Westbound On-Off Ramp and Bristol Street and <br />at the Santa Aha Freeway Southbound Off-Ramp and <br />Bristol Street; opening date November 14, 197Z at Z:00 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />-39Z- <br /> <br />OCTOBER 16, 1972 <br /> <br /> <br />
