During the course of this review and audit, we <br />anticipate that several initiatives for improvement will be identified. <br />These ini tiati ves will create an opportunity to effectuate departmental <br />improvements and address key issues related to enhancing operational <br />effectiveness. Staff recommends entering into this agreement as DuChesne <br />& Associates LLC recently completed a similar proj ect for the Police <br />Department's Gang Investigations Section and is familiar with the Police <br />Department operations. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds are available in the Police Department's Building and Facili ties <br />Other Contractual Services account (account no. 011-350-6291). <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Paul M.
