The program provides funds for enhancement and restoration <br />of riparian habitats throughout the State. <br /> <br />The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency is requesting <br />authorization to submit a grant application in the amount of $50,000 for <br />the restoration and enhancement of the area surrounding Santiago Park <br />Wildlife and Watershed Interpretive Center. The proposed proj ect will <br />provide habitat landscaping adjacent to the Interpretive Center. <br /> <br />This project will complement the Interpretive Center and will allow <br />individuals to view rare Santiago Park native species in their natural <br />environment. Communi ty support for this proj ect includes the County, <br />schools, non-profit organizations, and the Santiago Park Neighborhood <br />Association. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />~Gera do Mouet, Executive Director <br />\V~ Park, Recreation and Com.
