MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />November 6, 197Z <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:06 P.M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Hall Annex, 530 North Ross Street, with the following Councilmen <br />present: Vernon S. Evans, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Jerry M. <br />Patterson, Ray villa, Marry K. Yamamoto, and Mayor Lorin Griset. Also <br />present were City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney James A. <br />Withers, Acting Director of Planning Charles C. Zimmerman, Director of <br />Public Works Ronald Wolford, and Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />MINUTES The Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br /> and the Adjourned Regular Meeting <br /> of October 16, 1972 were approved <br />as submitted on motion of Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Evans, <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />an appointment to the Library Board. <br /> <br />Council recessed to an Executive <br />Session at 2:10 P.M., to consider <br />Personnel matters pertaining to <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 2:45 P. M., with all Councilmen present. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO <br />LIBRARY BOARD <br /> <br />Kohl was appointed to the Library Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Patterson, <br />and unanimously carried, Robert <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda items were <br /> removed from the Consent Calendar: <br /> Items 3A and 9B requested by <br />Councilman Herrin, and Items 5B and 7B requested by Councilman Markel. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br />unanimously carried, Council affirmed the recommended action on the <br />following Consent Calendar items: <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifications, <br />and authorized advertisement for <br />bids on the following: <br /> <br />PROJECT 6073 - Re-surface and re-stripe double <br />asphaltic concrete tennis court in Memorial Park; <br />opening date December 6, 1972 at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />SPEC. 72-024 - 36,000 feet of Fire Alarm Cable <br />of two twisted pairs of #16 gauge, solid AWG copper <br />conductors, and two single #12 solid AWG copper <br />conductors, and 6,000 feet of Fire Alarm Cable of <br />six twisted pairs of #16 gauge, solid AWG <br />conductors and three single #12 solid AWG copper <br />conductors. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />407 <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 6, 1972 <br /> <br /> <br />
