NO. 01-032) <br /> <br />APPROVED <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 1 st Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />",.1.. ~ <br /> <br />(~ <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Renew the contract with Hydroblast for hardscape cleaning services for <br />a one-year period in an annual amount not to exceed $177,040. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Parks, <br />hardscape <br />Facility, <br />Library, <br />Sasscer <br />concrete <br />thereby <br />areas. <br /> <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency is responsible for <br />maintenance around the Police Administration and Holding <br />Santa Ana Stadium, and the areas around City Hall and the <br />general parking and walkways, the Plaza of the Sun, and <br />Park. The contract provides for the monthly cleaning of <br />areas of high pedestrian traffic by means of steam cleaning, <br />improving the appearance and maintaining clean, attractive <br /> <br />On September 4, 2001, the City Council awarded a contract to Hydroblast <br />for a two-year period, with provision for two one-year renewals. <br />Hydroblast continues to maintain the lowest prices available.
