Prior to voting, Mayor Griset stated that he could not support the <br />motion until he knows what will happen to the 10 UTO, Inc. permits. <br /> <br />Councilman Markel stated that he opposed the motion and that staff <br />should bring back a recommendation. <br /> <br />Councilman Yamamoto stated that he could not support the motion <br />and that he also wanted a staff recommendation. <br /> <br />Mayor Griset announced that in the absence of any firm direction <br />from the Council, the matter of distribution of available permits <br />would be considered at the next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />reconvened with all members present. <br /> <br />At 4:05 P.M. a five-minute <br />recess was declared. At <br />4:15 P.M. the Council <br /> <br />RECESS FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY MEETING <br /> <br />reconvened at 4:30 P.M., <br /> <br /> At 4:15 P.M. Council recessed <br /> to continue the Housing <br /> Authority Meeting and <br />with all Councilmen present. <br /> <br />MINUTES The Minutes of the Regular <br /> Meeting of December 4, 1972 <br /> were approved as submitted, <br />on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman <br />Patterson, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda items <br /> removed from the Consent <br /> Calendar: Items 7C and 7D <br />requested by Councilman Evans; Item 5 D requested by Councilman <br />Yamamoto; and Item lA requested by Councilman Markel. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Patterson, <br />and unanimously carried, Council affirmed the recommended action <br />on the following Consent Calendar items: <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />for bids on the <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br />Approved plans and <br />specifications, and <br />authorized advertisement <br /> <br />PROJECT 7021 - Paint One Million Gallon Elevated <br />Tank; opening date January 16, 1973. <br /> <br />PROJECT 7027 - Construct Bowers Museum Building <br />Addition; opening date February 21, 1973, at <br />2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />466 <br /> <br />DECEMBER 18, 1972 <br /> <br /> <br />
