McCloud <br />and Denise Patterson, Trustees of the McCloud Family Living Trust dated <br />March 22, 1996, for the structure located at 2310 North North Park <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council direct the City Attorney to prepare and <br />authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with George W. McCloud and Denise Patterson, Trustees of the <br />McCloud Family Living Trust dated March 22, 1996, for the structure <br />located at 2310 North North Park Boulevard at its September 2, 2004 <br />meeting by a vote of 8:0 (Gartner absent). <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />After the public hearing on September 2, 2004, the Historic Resources <br />Commission reviewed the proposed Historic Property Preservation Agreement <br />(Mills Act Contract) and concluded that the resulting potential property <br />tax savings would encourage the owner to reinvest the tax savings in the <br />maintenance of their historic property, and would benefit both the owner <br />and the community (Exhibit A). Additionally, the agreement prevents <br />inappropriate alterations. <br /> <br />25G-1 <br />
