Adopt a resolution approving amendment to Conditional Use Permit No. <br />2003-17 as conditioned. <br /> <br />4. Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2004-05 as conditioned, <br />with the elimination of Condition NO.8. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />1. Approved and adopted the Mitigated Negative Declaration and <br />Mitigation Monitoring Program, Environmental Review No. 2004-181. <br /> <br />2. Adopted a resolution approving Variance No. 2004-05 as conditioned. <br /> <br />3. Adopted a resolution amending Conditional Use Permit No. 2003-17 as <br />conditioned. <br /> <br />At its August 9, 2004 meeting (Exhibit A) by a vote of 5:2 (De La Torre <br />and Sinclair opposed) . <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On June 28, 2004, Planning Commission held a public hearing on the <br />proj ect. After holding the public hearing, the Planning Commission <br />expressed concerns with the size of the building, the parking reduction <br />and the potential for significant traffic impacts. The Planning <br />Commission continued the item for 45 days and directed the applicant to <br />meet with staff to discuss the issues raised. <br /> <br />758-1 <br />
