The grant monies will <br />be paid out over two years. This joint program spearheaded by the Public <br />Works Agency and the Police Department will provide the following: <br /> <br />- Public pedestrian safety education outreach targeting children and <br />senior citizens <br />- Pedestrian count down signal heads at approximately 50 signalized <br />intersections <br />- Two radar speed trailers <br />Enhanced police patrols in areas with heavy pedestrian activity <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with the appropriation <br />adjustment. <br /> <br />200-1 <br />
