M. , <br /> <br />ON STREET PARKING The letter from Lloyd L. <br />STREET SWEEPER Clark, 221 Cypress Street, <br /> dated March 14, 1973, <br />requesting that parking be banned on Cypress Street south of First Street <br />nightly between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 12:00 A.M. to accommodate <br />the street sweeper was received and ordered filed on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and unanimously carried. <br />(CA 18) <br /> <br />SPEED LIMIT The letter from Benjamin F. <br />SOUTH RAITT STREET Krouse, 1ZZZ South Raitt <br /> Street, dated March 19, 1973, <br />enclosing a petition requesting that the speed limit on South Raitt Street <br />between McFadden and Warner be reduced from 40 MPH to 30 MPH was <br />referred to staff on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman <br />Yamamoto, and unanimously carried. Z) <br /> <br />PUBLIC EDUCATION The letter from the City of <br />STATE LOTTERY Huntington Beach dated <br /> March Z1, 1973, enclosing <br />their resolution and,urging support of legislation establishing a State <br />lottery .for benefit of public education was received and ordered filed on <br />motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Markel, and <br />unanimously carried. (CA 57) <br /> <br />CALIFORNIA ANGELS Council endorsed the <br /> resolution of the City of <br /> Anaheim' in support of the <br />California Angels after considering their letter dated March 21, 1973, <br />on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Patterson, and <br />unanimously carried. (CA 73 ]5) <br /> <br />REVENUE SHARING The Resolution of the Orange <br /> County Board of Supervisors <br /> dated March 13, 1973, <br />appropriating federal revenue sharing monies, was received and ordered <br />filed on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br />and unanimously carried.
