<br />9/1/04 LES <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-074 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA <br />FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN MERGER AMENDMENTS CONFORM TO THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA GENERAL PLAN AND APPROVING THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED WITH REGARD <br />TO THE MERGER OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br />AREAS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />A. The Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") is a <br />community redevelopment agency organized and existing under the California <br />Community Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et. seq., <br />("CRL") and has been authorized to transact business and exercise the powers of a <br />redevelopment agency pursuant to action of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />("City Council"). <br /> <br />B. On July 2, 1973, by Ordinance No. 1173, the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana ("City Council") approved and adopted a redevelopment plan for the Central City <br />Redevelopment Project ("Central City Project"). <br /> <br />C. On July 6, 1982, by Ordinance No. NS-1636, the City Council adopted a <br />redevelopment plan for the Inter-City Commuter Station Redevelopment Project ("Inter- <br />City Project"). <br /> <br />D. On July 6, 1982, by Ordinance No. NS-1637, the City Council adopted a <br />redevelopment plan for the North Harbor Redevelopment Project ("North Harbor <br />Project"). <br /> <br />E. On July 6, 1982, by Ordinance No. NS-1638, the City Council adopted a <br />redevelopment plan for the South Harbor Redevelopment Project ("South Harbor <br />Project"). <br /> <br />F. On July 6, 1982, by Ordinance No. NS-1639, the City Council adopted a <br />redevelopment plan for the South Main Redevelopment Project ("South Main Project"). <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />G. On December 4, 1989, by Ordinance No. NS-2039, the City Council adopted <br />a redevelopment plan for the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project ("Bristol Corridor <br />Project"). <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2004-074 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
