<br />8 <br /> <br />SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />FOR THE <br />NORTH HARBOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Redevefopment Plan ("Redevelopment Plan'") for the North Harbor Redevelopment Project <br />("Project" or "Project Area") was approved and adopted by the City CouncUof the City of Santa <br />Ana ("City Coord") on Jufy 6, 1982 by Ordinance No. NS-1637. The Project Area contains <br />approximately 428 acres. The RedeveJopment Plan has been amended on October 3, 1994 by <br />Ordinance No. N8-2234. on May 6. 1996 by Ordinance No. N8-2291 , on August 2. 1999 by <br />Ordinance No. N8-2396, on January 20, 2004 by Ordinance No. N8-2641 and on May 17. <br />2004 by Ordinance No. N8-2652. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") is propœing a sixth amendment <br />("Sixth Amendmenr) to the Redevefopment Plan, the sole purpose of which is to me~ the <br />Project Area with the Central City Redevelopment Project. Intet--City Commuter Station <br />Redevelopment Project. South Harbor Redevelopment Project. South Main Redevelopment <br />Project. and the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project ("Merged Projects'"). No amendment is <br />proposed to the financial or time limits or the boundaries of the Project Area. The financial and <br />time limits stated in the Redevelopment Plan, as amended. for the Project Area shall remain in <br />force and effect. <br /> <br />The Redevelopment Plan is hereby further amended to include a new Part X to the <br />Redevelopment Plan to read as follows: <br /> <br />x. <br /> <br />(§1000) <br /> <br />MERGER <br /> <br />Upon the effective date of the ordinance adopting the Sixth Amendment to the <br />Redevelopment Plan. and provided the ordinances become effective amending the <br />Redevelopment Plans for the Merged Projects, the North Harbor Redevelopment Project will <br />- hereby be merged with the Central City Redevelopment Project, Inter-City Commuter Station <br />Redevelopment Project. South Harbor Redevelopment Project.
