I~-, / <br />a~,,/flv\.('c~--- <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Receive and file Boards and Commissions Biannual Attendance Report. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Boards <br />inform the <br />meetings. <br /> <br />and Commissions Attendance Report is <br />Council regarding member attendance <br /> <br />prepared biannually to <br />at Board or Commission <br /> <br />Pursuant to Council policy, the City Council may remove board or commission <br />members who incur four unexcused absences within the six-month reporting <br />period. Additionally, City Charter Section 901 provides that three <br />consecutive unexcused absences would result in the vacation of a board or <br />commission position. <br /> <br />Examination of attendance reports for the period ending September 30, 2004 <br />revealed that no current members have exceeded the limits for permitted <br />absences.
