Due to the
success and benefits of the Summer Lunch program, the program was expanded
in 2001 to operate year-round and incorporated into the City's youth
recreational programs.

Five of our community centers and seven non-profit organizations provide
year-round lunch services, including Lyon Street Parent Center, Los Puenta,
Iglesia Metodista, La Serena Apartments, Corbin Family & Community Center,
Memorial Recreation Center, Jerome Recreation Center, El Salvador
Recreation Center, Salgado Recreation Center, the Boys & Girls Club of
Santa Ana, Victory Outreach, and Hispanic Ministries (KIDWorks). The
agreement and appropriation adjustment will allow the Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Agency to continue this valuable service for the current
fiscal year.

20A-1
