(CA 12) <br /> <br />RECEPTION The request from the Acting <br />BOWERS MUSEUM Museum Director, dated <br /> July 12, 1973, for permis- <br /> sion to serve wine at a <br />reception for Guy Rigauleau, a citizen of France visiting the <br />City, scheduled for July 23, 1973, was approved on motion of <br />Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Markel, and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />The memorandum indicated that the refreshments would be furnished <br />by Councilman Markel and the Lions Club. (CA 89) <br /> <br /> CONSOLIDATION OF CITY AND Council considered the <br /> SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS reports of the City <br /> Attorney dated May 7, 1973, <br /> and July 3, 1973, and <br /> instructed staff to notify the boards of the Santa Ana Unified <br /> School District and the Rancho Santiago Community College <br /> District that requests for school election consolidation with <br />regular City elections would be favorably considered subject to <br />proportional sharing of costs as provided in Section 1227 of the <br /> Election Code.
