(CA 25) <br /> <br />* * * * ~ * * * CONSENT CALENDAR FINIS ~ * * * * * * * <br /> <br />BUDGET STUDY SESSION The Mayor stated that <br /> Council had been midway <br /> in discussions regarding <br /> the Seventeenth Street <br />Widening project when the budget study session preceding the <br />Council meeting had adjourned, and that Council wished to proceed <br />with that discussion before proceeding with items on the Agenda. <br /> <br />The Director of Public Works stated that he had completed his <br />presentation during the study session. <br /> <br />Councilman Ward stated that he favored widening and installation <br />of traffic signal; that he would like to see the sidewalks <br />omitted on the south side of Seventeenth Street and the money <br />put into bike trails and bus loading and unloading zones, with <br />no parking on the south side. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />261 JULY 16, 1973 <br /> <br /> <br />
