The property is located in the Single-Family Residence (Rl) zoning <br />district and has a General Plan land use designation of Low-Density <br />Residential (LR-7), which allows a maximum of seven dwelling units per <br />acre. The surrounding land uses consist of a maj ori ty of single- family <br />residences, with multi-family residences and commercial offices to the <br />east (Exhibits 1 and 2) . <br /> <br />Project Description <br /> <br />The proposed project involves the addition of 10 square feet to the garage <br />area, 79 square feet for an interior stairwell and 510 square feet for the <br />new second story home office (Exhibits 3 and 4). The home office will be <br />used for art direction and production design by the owner. The existing <br />residence is a single-story Spanish Colonial Revival style home.
