<br />155:11/05/04 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-083 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO <br />EXECUTE A GRANT AWARD AGREEMENT WITH ORANGE <br />COUNTY ON TRACK <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. Pursuant to a grant award agreement with Orange County On Track, the City <br />has been awarded $30,000.00 in grant funding. <br /> <br />B. This grant provides funds for the Santa Ana Police Department to provide <br />enforcement and education efforts relating to the illegal sales of tobacco to <br />minors. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Chief of Police or his designee is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the grant award agreement with Orange County On Track. <br /> <br />Section 3. The Chief of Police or designee is appointed as agent for the City of <br />Santa Ana to conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents, including but <br />not limited to applications, agreements, amendments and payment requests which may <br />be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned grant. <br /> <br />Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />,2004. <br /> <br />Miguel A.
