Santa Ana Blvd., Ste. 108 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />THE DEPOT at Santa Ana <br />FEMA 178 Evaluation <br />Santa Ana, CA <br />UNA Proposal No. 1470) <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Fullerton: <br /> <br />The following is our proposal to provide a general structural seismic evaluation and seismic <br />performance level evaluation of THE DEPOT at Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Our evaluation of the structure will be based on the NEHRP Handbook for The Seismic <br />Evaluation of Existing Structures (FEMA-178, June 1992) and Recommended Seismic <br />Evaluation and Upgrade Criteria for Existing Welded Steel Moment-Frame Buildings (FEMA <br />351, July 2000). This evaluation will include: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Visit to the site to observe the general physical status of the building and the <br />site. <br />A review of available design drawings of the original structure. <br />An assessment of any significant structural deficiencies observed. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />þ <br /> <br />We propose to provide these services on a time and material basis per our attached Standard <br />Hourly Rate Schedule (Attachment 1), with ë\ not-to-exceed maximum of $5,000.00. <br />-:- <br /> <br />~ ~= <br /> <br />If the foregoing meets with your approval, please sign hereafter at the indicated location and <br />return (1) one copy to our office.
