<br />" 9: oj <br /> <br />1.03 <br /> <br />TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> <br />The Contractor shall complete all work under the contract within 120 working days from the <br />date of the Notice To Proceed issued by the Projects Manager. The contract may be <br />extended for an additional 36 months in three 12-month increments, after evaluation by the <br />Public Works Agency (PW A) and mutual agreement between PW A and the contractor. <br /> <br />1.04 <br /> <br />LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br /> <br />The liquidated damages amount, in lieu of that specified in Subsection 6-9 of the Standard <br />Specifi.:ation, shall be $120.00 per calendar day. <br /> <br />The award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest re nsible bidder whose <br />proposal complies with all requirements described. The award, i ade, will be made within <br />60 days after the opening of the bids. All bids will be mpared on the basis of the <br />Engineer's estimate of the quantities of work to be done. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This section shall conform to Subsection 2-1 of the Standard Specifications and t <br />Special Provisions. <br /> <br />The bidder is required to examine c efully the site, the specifications, and contract forms <br />for the work contemplated. It III be assumed that the bidder has investigated and is <br />satisfied as to the condition 0 be encountered as the character, quality, and quantities of <br />work to be performed ä materials to be furnished, and as to the requirements of the <br />specifications, the ecial Provisions, and the contract. It is mutually agreed that the <br />submission of a oposal shall be considered prima facie evidence that the bidder has made <br />such exarni IOn. <br /> <br /> <br />e AGENCY until the execution of the <br /> <br />No proposal shall be considered binding upon <br />contract by the AGENCY. <br /> <br /> <br />1.06 <br /> <br />EMERGENCY INFORMATION <br /> <br />The names, addresses and telephone numbers of the Contractor and Subcontractors, or their <br />representatives, shall be filed with the Engineer and the City Police and Fire Departments <br />prior to beginning work. <br /> <br />2 <br />
