<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide timely weekend and holiday graffiti removal services, on specified <br />target streets and locations received from City staff and through the City's graffiti removal <br />telephone hot-line number. <br /> <br />WORKING HOURS <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide graffiti removal from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and <br />holidays. On Saturdays and holidays, Contractor shall respond to all graffiti telephone hot-line <br />requests received by 1 :00 p.m. Graffiti removal requests received between 1 :00 p.m. Saturday <br />and 1 :00 p.m. Sunday shall be responded to by 4:00 p.m. the same Sunday. Those requests <br />received after 1 :00 p.m. Sunday and which Contractor cannot respond to, shall be handled by <br />City crews the following day. Likewise, Contractor cannot respond to a request received after <br />1 :00 p.m. on a holiday that is followed by a workday, City crews will handle it on the following <br />workday. <br /> <br />METHODS OF REMOVAL <br /> <br />Methods may include sandblasting or other pressurized removal system, matching existing <br />painted surfaces or other eradication procedures as approved by City. Graffiti shall be removed <br />from the specified areas only. The removal method shall vary depending upon the type of <br />graffiti and the condition of the surface. <br /> <br />MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies necessary to safely perform graffiti removal. <br />This includes, as necessary, breathing apparatus and traffic control devices. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR WORK <br /> <br />Authorization to remove graffiti on private property shall be secured by the Contractor from each <br />property owner and tenant, or authorized agent. Contractor shall use the "Consent to Enter and <br />Release of Liability" (hereinafter "Consent") form provided by the City to obtain this <br />authorization prior to performing the work. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to secure <br />this authorization. Contractor shall contact the property owner, tenant or authorized agent and <br />explain the program, and then obtain signatures. Copies of all properly executed forms shall be <br />submitted with each monthly invoice to the City. <br /> <br />EXECUTION OF WORK <br /> <br />Upon receipt of the executed Consent form, Contractor shall remove the subject graffiti. The <br />work shall be performed in a prompt, thorough. Lawful and workman like manner. <br /> <br />COMPLETION, VERIFICATION AND APPROVAL OF WORK <br /> <br />8 <br />
