Bosch, MA <br />Page 2 <br />CASE MANAGER /PROGRAM COORDINATOR 1995 - 1996 <br />CITY OF LA HABRA: General responsibility for the Aerospace Network Career Center, part of <br />the JTPA Employment and Training Department of the City of La Habra, funded by the U.S. <br />Department of Labor under JTPA. Developed and maintained own caseload of 85 while overseeing <br />all other client (500) services in Center. Hired, trained, and supervised up to nine case <br />management and clerical staff. Provided and organized orientation sessions and job search <br />workshops for up to forty potential and current clients per week. Assumed public relations role <br />and contact person for government agencies, private industry, training and school facilities, as well <br />as unresolved problems with clients. Authorized client expenditures. Coordinated relocation of <br />large Center. Facilitated computerization of the new Center, installing software, developing <br />relevant templates and training the staff. Directed client activity in identification of success skills, <br />resume development, practicing and enhancing interviewing skills, addressing personal issues, as <br />necessary, in support of job search and occupational retraining. <br />PSYCHOTHERAPIST <br />1988 - 1994 <br />PRIVATE PRACTICE: Provided office and hospital psychotherapy to individuals, couples, <br />families, and groups. Part of this period, contracted as an Employee Assistance Counselor for <br />REACH, an Employee Assistance Program with offices in Orange and Irvine, CA, providing <br />assessment, counseling, and referral services. Additionally, subcontracted for Alan W. Levy, <br />Ph.D., consulting with referred hospitalized patients utilizing specialized treatment modality. <br />PSYCHIATRIC SOCIAL WORKER <br />1977 - 1988 <br />HOAG MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: Starting out as a Psychiatric Technician, promoted to Day <br />Treatment Coordinator, and in 1981, selected to head the Social Services Department of the <br />Mental Health Unit. Provided psychosocial evaluations, casework, couples and family consultation, <br />placements, community resources, group leadership, supervision, and was a member of the <br />Administrative Staff. Redeveloped group therapy program, and expanded outpatient services. <br />Served as the primary liaison between patients, families, staff, physicians, other medical staff and <br />departments, and outside community resources and agencies. <br />EDUCATION <br />Master of Arts: MFCC Chapman University <br />Bachelor of Arts: Psychology California State University, Long Beach <br />California State License Marriage and Family Therapist MFT 16179 <br />
