Box 1988 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />Real Community Development Block Grant <br />Dear Mr. Maloney: <br />The purpose of this letter is to advise that the Santa Ana Unified School District islegally <br />self-insured for comprehensive general liability in the amount of 51,000,000. <br />.Additionally the District has $14,000,000 in excess liability insurance with Schools <br />Excess Liability Fund (SELF). <br />The District is self-insured and and self-administered for workers' compensation. The <br />District's workers' compensation self-insurance retention limit is that required by <br />California statutes. <br />It is hereby understood and agreed this insurance shall not be canceled, limited, or non - <br />renewed by Santa Ana Unified School District without 30 days prior written notification <br />to the City of Santa Ana. <br />This letter verifies that the City of Santa Ana, its officers, agents, employees and <br />representatives are -hereby covered as additional self -insureds pursuant to above - <br />captioned application and agreement_ <br />It is agreed that any insurance maintained by the City of Santa Ana will apply in excess <br />of, and not contribute with, insurance provided by this policy - <br />If you have any questions, please call me at (714) 558-5556. _ <br />Very truly yours, <br />Eugene D.
