CITY OF SANA ANA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT Scope of Work Annual Accomplishment Goal I. Total number of clients anticipated to be served during the 12-month contract period= --41!:I:1L- PERSONS II. Total number of un duplicated Santa Ana residents to be served with grant funds during the l2-month contract period = ~ PERSONS III. Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12- month contract period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. Students are introduced to the environment and taught about recycling. After viewing a short environmental video, children experience nature first-hand. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations children learn about the life cycle of a plant, the air cycle, water cycle and food chains. In addition, each student will take a tour of The Kellogg House that teaches children of what life was like 100 years ago. They also learn about Mr. Hiram Clay Kellogg, a civil engineer responsible for designing most of the roads, railroad and sewer systems throughout the city.
