Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract <br />period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />The goal of Human Options is to help battered women, their families and our community break <br />the cycle of domestic violence. In order to do this we assist women who are homeless because <br />of domestic violence and move them toward self-sufficiency, emotionally, economically, and <br />socially. <br />50-60 homeless Santa Ana residents a year would meet 6-8 hours weekly during a 45 day stay <br />with the Counselor III being funded by this grant.
