Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract <br />period including services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />Interval House will provide shelter, food, clothing, peer/counseling, individual counseling, crisis <br />hotline counseling, comprehensive medical services and legal assistance to Santa Ana women <br />who are victims of domestic violence and their children. <br />The goals are: <br />• To provide shelter, food and clothing to 50 women and children who are victims of <br />domestic violence residing in Santa Ana. <br />o Emergency and transitional shelter will be provided at our facilities. <br />o Three meals a day plus snacks will be provided by Interval House <br />o Clothes are provided through a cooperative arrangement with the "Bargain Box" <br />To provide emotional support and problem solving skills through individual counseling, <br />group counseling, and domestic violence education groups to 100 women and children <br />who are victims of domestic violence residing in Santa Ana. <br />o Individual and peer counseling services will be provided at our facility to women <br />in and out of shelter. <br />o Children in and out of shelter will receive a full range of services and activities to <br />address psychosocial, emotional and academic needs. <br />To provide 24 hour multi-lingual hotline counseling services to 100 callers from Santa <br />Ana. <br />o Interval House provides two published hotline numbers that will be answered by <br />trained multi-lingual domestic violence advocates. Forty different languages are <br />available. These services will be available 24 hrs. a day, 365 days a year. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents <br />to be served during the 12-month <br />contract period per quarter: <br />Quarter 1: July 1 — September 30 <br />60 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 2: October 1 — December 31 <br />60 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 3: January 1 — March 31 <br />65 <br />Persons <br />Quarter 4: April 1 — June 30 <br />65 <br />Persons <br />Total <br />250 <br />Persons <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
