TENTATIVE PARCEL On motion of Councilman <br />MAP 853 Evans, seconded by <br /> Councilman Griset and <br /> carried with Councilmen <br />Garthe and Ward dissenting, Council received and filed the <br />Negative Declaration Form, waived the alley requirement and <br />approved the following map subject to the conditions contained <br />in the Planning Director's report dated February 20, 1974: <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #853 - Filed by Rosenson <br />Properties, creating two (2) C 5 parcels for <br />commercial purposes; located generally on the <br />northeast corner of Tustin Avenue and Santa <br />Clara Ave. (CA 25) <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL On motion of Councilman <br />MAP 856 Evans, seconded by <br /> Councilman Griset and <br /> carried with Councilman <br />Garthe dissenting, Council received and filed the Negative <br />Declaration Form, waived the alley requirement, and approved <br />the following map subject to the conditions contained in the <br />Planning Director's report dated February 19, 1974, including <br />the addition of Condition C (1) on Page 2: <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #856, filed by Jack J. <br />Rimel, creating two (2) C 1 parcels; proposed <br />parcel #1 is to be used for commercial uses; <br />parcel #2 is a portion of an existing nursery; <br />located generally on the west side of Grand <br />Avenue, 365 feet south of Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br />In discussing the parcel maps, Councilmen Garthe and Ward ex- <br />pressed concern over access to parcels and questioned the wis- <br />dom of waiving the alley requirement without requiring some <br />other type of access to the property. (CA 25) <br /> <br />REIMBURSEMENT Council authorized the <br />CHRYSLER LEASING CORP. following reimbursement <br /> on the unanimously <br /> approved motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Garthe: <br /> <br />CHRYSLER LEASING CORPORATION, for water main <br />installation, 3500 West MacArthur, in the amount <br />of $1,749. (CA 12) <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR REPORT <br />JUNIPER AT HARBOR BLVD. <br /> <br />the south side of the street at the <br />and Harbor Boulevard. (CA 29.4) <br /> <br /> Councilman Ward requested <br /> an informal report regard- <br /> ing the reasons for the <br /> lack of improvement on <br />intersection of Juniper <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />motion of Councilman Garthe, <br /> <br /> Council approved the <br /> following appropriation <br /> adjustment on the <br />unanimously carried <br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto: <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 70 FEBRUARY 25, 1974 <br /> <br /> <br />
