MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 11, 1974 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Mayor Jerry M. <br />Patterson, proper Notice and Posting having been accomplished <br />with affidavits on file in the Office of the Clerk of the <br />Council, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 22 Civic Center <br />Plaza, with the following Councilmen present: J. Ogden Markel, <br />John Garthe, Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, James E. Ward, <br />Lorin Griset, and Mayor Jerry M. Patterson. Also present were <br />City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney James A. Withers, <br />Director of Planning Charles C. Zimmerman, Director of Public <br />Works Ronald Wolford, Assistant City Manager Thomas Andrusky, <br />and Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance, Councilman <br />Garthe gave the Invoca- <br />tion. <br /> <br />RECESS At 9:07 A.M., on motion <br /> of Councilman Evans, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br /> Yamamoto, Council <br />recessed to convene the Community Redevelopment Agency. The <br />Agency recessed at 9:35 A.M., and Council reconvened with all <br />members present. <br /> <br />MINUTES The~Minutes of the <br /> Adjourned Regular Meeting <br /> of February 25, 1974, <br /> were approved as sub- <br />mitted on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman <br />Ward, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda <br /> items were removed from <br /> the Consent Calendar: <br /> Items 3 B and 13 re- <br />quested by Councilman Markel; Item 5 A requested by Councilman <br />Yamamoto; and Items 1 C and 9 requested by Councilman Ward. <br />Item 2 was deleted by Mayor Patterson. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Garthe <br />and unanimously carried, Council affirmed the recommended <br />action on the following Consent Calendar items: <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />ment for bids on the <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br />Approved plans and <br />specifications, and <br />authorized advertise- <br /> <br />PROJECT 7033 Furnish and install <br />steel casing under S.P.R.R. tracks <br />Street at Alton Avenue. <br /> <br />36-inch <br />in Raitt <br /> <br />PROJECT 1319 Construct the south side of <br />First Street from 260 feet west of Lyon <br />Street to the Santa Aha Freeway. <br /> <br />(CA 89) <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />81 <br /> <br />MARCH 11, 1974 <br /> <br /> <br />
