a letter to the City's representatives in the State Legislature <br />endorsing the Briggs Bill, to place the one-cent sales tax <br />proposal for public transit development on the November ballot. <br />(CA 57; CA 112.2) <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />"HERITAGE SQUARE" <br /> <br />and asked upon what the reality of <br /> <br /> Mrs. Betty Biner, <br /> 628 E. Chestnut, <br /> requested the status <br /> of "Heritage Square" <br />it is dependent. <br /> <br />Mayor Patterson responded that it is tenuous; that it involves <br />the County, City and funding. <br /> <br />Mr. Goblirsch, Executive Director, Redevelopmen~ Agency, stated <br />that meetings with the County staff were in process and indicated <br />that support has been good. <br /> <br />Mr. Stevens, Assistant Director of Public ~orks, stated that <br />the Waffle House should be moved by August 1 at tko latest; <br />that there is a surplus piece of property owned by-the City <br />at the corner of French and new Santa Aha Blvd. whlckwoUld <br />probably be large enough to locate temporarily: tko Waffle <br />House if the donee does not have permission to move it to <br />the north of its present location· (CA 85.1e) <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP #838 Council considered a <br />TRACT MAP #8450 letter dated May 3, <br />EARL DEVELOPMENT CORP. 1974, from the Earl <br /> Development Corporation, <br />and staff report dated May 6, 1974, from the Planning Direc- <br />tor, requesting exemption from conditions 7 A and 7 B of <br />previously approved Parcel Map 838. On motion of Councilman <br />Evans, seconded by Councilman Griset, and unanimously, carried <br />the request was approved, subject to tke following conditions: <br /> <br />That all property subject to Parcel Map 838 <br />with the exception of parcel 3 5e designated <br />as a residual (and not a separate~building <br />site); <br /> <br />That prior to the issuance of any building <br />permit on parcel 3 of Tentative Parcel Map 838 <br />that the following conditions be met: <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />That the site plan be approved by the <br />the City; <br /> <br />That all improvements proposed for parcel <br />3 be subject to architectural review and <br />approval by the Planning Department; <br /> <br />Prior to the recordation of a final map on <br />Tentative Tract Map 8450 or any portion tkeTeof, <br />located at the northwest corner of rust'in AvenUe <br />and Fifth Street, that there be recorded Coven- <br />ants, Conditions and Restrictions acceptable <br />to the City as to form and content. <br /> <br />A representative of the Earl Development Corporation, Mr. <br />Taylor Gerry, was present.
