The contract for animal food is designed to provide <br />quality products at significant savings based on quantity pricing. <br /> <br />On January 21, 2003, the City Council awarded a contract to Family Tree <br />Produce, for a two-year period with provision for two one-year <br />renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past <br />contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an <br />increase in pricing. Staff recommends the first renewal of the <br />contract. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds for the first six months are budgeted and available in the FY <br />2004-2005 Recreation and Community Services Zoo Animal Food account <br />(account no. 11-247-6392).
