Also address integrity) <br /> <br />The Sanborn House is architecturally significant as a good example of the Colonial Revival style as it was interpreted in the <br />period just prior to World War II. It was constructed in 1941 at a cost of $6, 000 for Carl D. and Louise M. Sanborn. Listed as <br />a salesman for the Weber Baking Company in the 1941 city directory, Mr. Sanborn had gone into business for himself by <br />1945 as a partner in the Main Market located at 320 South Main Street.
