These services incl ude real property <br />acquisition, relocation assistance, property management, escrow <br />activities, surplus properties, street and alley vacations and project <br />management. In the past the Agency has contracted with consultants for <br />the technical work and administered the contracts with Design Engineering <br />staff. During the past several years the right-of-way workload has <br />increased due to several major streets widening projects such as Bristol <br />Street and Edinger Avenue. <br /> <br />This agreement is needed to support the current right-of-way operations <br />and to avoid any delay in projects due to a long-term vacancy in the <br />Design Engineering Section. Kent Jorgensen, the contractor selected, has <br />previously worked for the City as a subcontractor and is familiar with <br />the system and operations of the City. An agreement with Kent Jorgensen <br />is recommended to continue right-of-way support services and to meet the <br />project deadlines. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action <br /> <br />25J-1 <br />
