<br />< <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A-2 <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The Boys and Girls Club will provide technology services at the Boys and Girls Club. <br /> <br />The program will be open to youth between the ages of 6-18. Activities will focus on <br />teaching club members about the uses and benefits of the computer and how to use the <br />internet and email. All participants will be given free email accounts upon parental <br />permission. Instruction will focus on incorporating "High Yield Learning Activities" that <br />engage members in literacy, mathematics, science and composition. <br /> <br />The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana will comply with all reporting requirements of the <br />Executive Office for Weed and Seed. Such requirements include providing monthly <br />report to the City Community Development Agency, describing the number of clients <br />served and the type and level of services provided. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The funds provided pursuant to this Agreement will pay for one instructor and minimal <br />supplies for the program, as follows: <br /> <br />Computer Instructor ($12.50 per hour x 16 hours per week x 40 weeks) <br /> <br />$8,000.00 <br />$ 400.00 <br /> <br />Supplies ($40 per month x 10 months) <br /> <br />TOTAL <br /> <br />$8,400.00 <br />
