DEEDS, NO CASH Council received and <br />GRANTEE, CITY ordered filed the report <br /> of No-Cash Deeds <br /> accepted by the City <br />Manager, pursuant to Resolution #69-1S6, from July 31 through <br />August 13, 1974, inclusive, on motion of Councilman Griset, <br />seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried, with Councilman <br />Ward dissenting. (CA 1S5) <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL <br />MAP NO. 891 <br />LORIN GRISET <br /> <br />the following map, <br />Planning Director's <br />seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried on a 6 <br />with Councilman Griset abstaining: <br /> <br />Council received and <br />ordered filed the <br />Negative Declaration <br />Form, and approved <br />subject to conditions contained in the <br /> report, on motion of Councilman Ward, <br /> - 0 vote, <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #891 Filed on July 22, <br />1974, by Lorin Griset, creating two (2) R 1 <br />parcels; proposed parcels to be used for <br />residential purposes; located generally on <br />the east side of Center Street, 165 feet south <br />of Borchard Avenue. <br /> <br />Prior to consideration of the foregoing matter, Councilman <br />Griset absented himself from the Council Chambers because of <br />a conflict of interest. (CA 25) <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />present. <br /> <br />A recess was declared <br />at 2:55 P.M.; Council <br />reconvened at 3:15 P.M. <br />with all Councilmen <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE The Assistant Clerk of <br />SIAOSI TUIOTI the Council administered <br />HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION the Oath of Office to <br /> Siaosi Tuioti, who was <br />appointed to the Human Relations Commission at the Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of August 12, 1974. (CA 131.2) <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER Mr. Jay Kingry, repre- <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1210 senting Pacific <br />NONCONFORMING SIGNS Outdoor Advertising, <br /> requested an indi- <br />cation from Council at this time regarding his request for a <br />continuance of the following ordinance: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-1210 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PERTAINING <br />TO NONCONFORMING SIGNS, AMENDING SECTIONS 41-619.13 <br />AND 41-619.5S OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND <br />ADDING SECTIONS 41-619.14, 41-619.1S, 41-619.16 <br />AND 41-619.17 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE. <br /> <br />A motion by Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Evans <br />to continue ORDINANCE NO. NS-1210 to October 7, 1974, was <br />amended on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman <br />Garthe to continue to September 9, 1974. The amended motion <br />carried unanimously. Council informally agreed to hear any <br />testimony at the time scheduled for Public Hearing during <br />the evening meeting (Agenda Item 70).
