PUBLIC HEARING <br />VACATION - ALLEY BETWEEN <br />MAIN & BUSH STREETS <br /> <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />The Public Hearing to <br />consider Vacation of <br />Alley between Matin and <br />Bush Streets was opened <br /> <br />There were <br />there were <br />Hearing. <br /> <br />no proponents or opponents, and the Clerk reported <br />no communications. The Mayor closed the Public <br /> <br />Councilman Garthe's motion to receive and file the Negative <br />Declaration was seconded by Councilman Evans and unanimously <br />carried (6-0). <br /> <br />The following Resolution was adopted unanimously (6-0) on <br />motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Garthe: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-1S3 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE <br />VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN <br />MAIN AND BUSH STREETS, SOUTH OF TWELFTH STREET, <br />AND RESERVING AN BASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES. <br />(CA 14) <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - VACATION <br />20-FOOT EASEMENT BETWEEN <br />COLUMBINE & SHERWOOD <br /> <br />Sherwood was opened by the Mayor. <br /> <br />The Public Hearing to <br />consider Vacation of <br />the 20-foot easement <br />between Columbine and <br /> <br />There were no proponents or opponents, and the Clerk reported <br />there were no communications. The Mayor closed the Public <br />Hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Evans' motion to receive and file the Negative <br />Declaration was seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously <br />carried (6-0). <br /> <br />The following Resolution was adopted unanimously (6-0) on <br />motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Markel: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-152 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE <br />VACATION OF A TWENTY-FOOT EASEMENT LOCATED <br />BETWEEN COLUMBINE STREET AND SHERWOOD STREET. (CA 14) <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER The report dated Octo- <br />BOWERS MUSEUM PROPOSED bet 1, 1974, from the <br />BLACK ART EXHIBIT Museum Director regard- <br /> ing proposed Black <br />art exhibit was considered by Council. <br /> <br />The Museum Director gave an oral report of his meetings with <br />the citizens who had expressed interest in the Black art <br />exhibit. He stated that in his opinion the funding problems <br />could be overcome through support from local individual and <br />private sectors in the community for the exhibit to be held <br />in February; that Staff will continue to work with the interested <br />citizens annually to help bring about their exhibits and objec- <br />tives. <br /> <br />Harriet Tyler concurred with the Director's remarks.
