In order to provide graffiti abatement <br />services until a new contract was awarded, the City and UGE entered into <br />an interim agreement under the same conditions for an amount not to <br />exceed $10,000. UGE successfully provided weekend and holiday graffiti <br />abatement services until the City Council awarded a new annual contract <br />to Graffiti Protective Coatings on November 15, 2004. Due to the four <br />months of additional work provided by UGE an additional $8,720 is <br />required for graffiti removal services. Since UGE has successfully <br />provided the additional weekend and holiday graffiti abatement services <br />during the interim period, and as specified by the agreement, staff <br />recommends that the additional payment be made. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />JOR/RPCA Graffiti Abatment 200S-3-01.doc/oo/rurrr <br /> <br />25G-1 <br /> <br />
