On the unanimously carried motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br />by Councilman Griset, Council awarded the following to Sully <br />Miller Contracting Co., Orange: <br /> <br />PROJECT 1344 - Construct MacArthur Boulevard <br />from Greenville Street to Bear Street; and <br /> <br />PROJECT 4024 - Construct K-3 Storm Drain in <br />Greenville Street from MacArthur Boulevard <br />to 300' South and in MacArthur Boulevard from <br />Greenville Street to 600' East. (CA 89] <br /> <br />BID AWARD - PROJECT 6091 <br />TENNIS COURT LIGHTING <br />SANTA ANA COLLEGE <br /> <br />carried motion of Councilman Evans, <br />Ward: <br /> <br /> Council awarded the <br /> following to Allbrite <br /> Electric, Los Angeles, <br />on the unanimously <br />seconded by Councilman <br /> <br />PROJECT 6091 Construct Tennis Court Lighting <br />at Santa Ana College. (CA 89) <br /> <br />AGREEMENT Council approved the <br />OLD CITY HALL PURCHASE amendment to the agree- <br /> ment dated February 20, <br /> 1973, between the City <br />and Del Pueblo Management and Development Company, to amend <br />Section VI, extending the contract performance completion <br />time to December 31, 1975, on the unanimously carried motion <br />of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> <br />Following comments by Rudy Montejano, representing Del Pueblo <br />Management Corporation, to the effect that the reversionary <br />clause contained in the agreement has made it impomsible for <br />the corporation to obtain financing, Council instructed the <br />City Attorney to explore possible alternatives to achieve the <br />protection necessary to the City, and at the same time make <br />it easier for the Del Pueblo Management Corporation to obtain <br />financing. (A-73-10; A-74-87) <br /> <br />READING WAIVED The full reading of <br /> ordinances and resolu- <br /> tions, the titles of <br /> which appeared on the <br />public Agenda, was waived on the unanimously carried motion <br />of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Griset. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1244 <br />SANITATION CHARGE <br /> <br />motion of Councilman <br /> <br />Griset, <br /> <br /> The following Ordinance <br /> was placed on second <br /> reading and adopted on <br /> the unanimously carried <br />seconded by Councilman Yamam~to: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1244 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING <br />SECTION 35-201 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE WHICH PROVIDES FOR A SANITATION CHARGE <br />ON THE USE OF SANITATION FACILITIES AND ~ER- <br />VICES.
