Description of work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12- month contract period including, services to be provided, program goals, client characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. 'Vlu! t):co'IS..kill wil.1 provide afterschoiol educational tuturoing for elementary school children in Santa Ana. Students will receiv assistance with their homework on all topics and subjects assigned to them. A computer lab will also be available for all students with mentors available to help them learn how to navigate computer software and use educational software games. The goals are to enroll 50 2nd through 8th graders and make local school aware of the program so they can refer students to the program. Clients will be from all areas of Sant Ana and mainly low-income families. Grant funds will be utilized for logistical and administrative support of the program.
