PALMISTRY & FORTUNETELLING The Council acted <br />REFERRAL ITEM NO. 149 unanimously to approve <br /> the motion of Council- <br /> man Griset, seconded <br />by Councilman Ward, to receive and file the report regarding <br />palmistry and fortunetelling and to delete Item No. 149 from <br />the Council Referral Summary, until such time as litigation <br />action is completed and a court decision has been rendered. <br /> CA 91.8 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 74-144 The motion of Council- <br />FIRE DIVISION COMMANDER man Ward, seconded <br />REFERRAL ITEM NO. 154 by Councilman Griset, <br /> unanimously carried <br />to receive and file the report on Resolution 74-144 and to <br />delete Item No. 154 from the Council Referral Summary. CA <br /> <br />50.1 <br /> <br />FEDERAL NOISE STANDARDS Councilman Bricken <br />& REGULATIONS declared that he had <br />REFERRAL ITEM NO. 167 a conflict of interest <br /> regarding the matter <br />before the Council, and left the Chamber. On motion by <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, Council sup- <br />ported (6-0) the position of the Metropolitan Transportation <br />Engineering Board regarding Federal Noise Standards and <br />Regulations and directed staff to advise the proper agencies <br />and authorities of this support; and deleted from the Council <br />Referral Summary Item No. 167. CA 145.4 <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken returned to the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />ELECTION OF ORANGE COUNTY On motion by Council- <br />TRANSIT DISTRICT MEMBERS man ~ard, seconded by <br />REFERRAL ITEM NO. 173 Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> the Council authorized <br />the Mayor and the delegate to Orange County League of Cities to <br />express the Council's position in support of the existing <br />appointive-elective membership form of the Board of the Orange <br />County Transit District. Councilman Markel dissented. CA 112.2 <br /> <br />COUNCIL REFERRAL SUMMARY <br /> <br />to receive and file the Council <br /> <br /> The motion of Council- <br /> man &riser, seconded <br /> by Councilman Ward, <br />was unanimously approved <br />Referral Summary.
