MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 18, 1975 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to <br />order at 2:10 P.M., by Mayor Vernon S. Evans, in the <br />Council Chambers of the City Hall, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />with the following Councilmen present: J. Ogden Markel, <br />Gordon Bricken, Harry K. Yamamoto, John Garthe, James <br />E. Ward, Lorin Griset, and Mayor Vernon S. Evans. Also <br />present were City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney <br />James A. Withers, Director of Planning Charles Zimmerman, <br />Director of Public Works Ronald Wolford, Police Chief <br />Raymond Davis, and Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Invocation. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, Councilman <br />Bricken gave the <br /> <br />RECESS <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />Council reconvened at 2:25 P.M. <br /> <br /> At 2:15 P.M. Council <br /> recessed to convene <br /> the Regular Meeting <br />of the Housing Authority; <br />with all Council members present. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF The Minutes of the <br />MINUTES Adjourned Regular and <br /> Regular Meetings of <br /> February 3, 1975 were <br />unanimously approved on motion of Councilman Bricken, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda <br /> items were removed from <br /> the Consent Calendar: <br /> Items 3 A, B, C and D, <br />16 A, B and C, requested by Councilman Markel; Item 5 A <br />requested by Councilman Yamamoto; Item 10 A requested by <br />Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Garthe, <br />Council unanimously affirmed the recommended action on the <br />following Consent Calendar Items: <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br /> <br />ment for bids on <br /> <br />the following: <br /> <br />Approved plans and <br />specifications and <br />authorized advertise- <br /> <br />SPEC. 75-001 Electronic Card-operated <br />access control system to limit access <br />to the Police Building. <br /> <br />CA 89G <br /> <br />SPEC. 75-002 - Metal <br />and evidence storage <br />ment. <br /> <br />shelving for property <br />for the Police Depart- <br /> <br />CA 896 <br /> <br />SPEC. 75-003 = Video Equipment including <br />television monitor and video tape player <br />and recorder for Police Department for <br />training purposes. <br /> <br />CA 89G <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 59 FEBRUARY 18, 1975 <br /> <br /> <br />
