Body Works to renovate the showmobile <br />trailer in the amount of $36,840. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency uses a showmobile <br />trailer to provide a stage and sound system for various festivals, <br />musical concerts, recreational acti vi ties, presentations, and special <br />events. The showmobile trailer, purchased in 1969, has slowly <br />deteriorated due to the adverse effects of weather and use, and requires <br />renovation. The renovation will include the restoration of the trailer <br />interior and exterior, its floors, doors, stairs, electrical wiring and <br />lights to original condition, and painting. A new hydraulic leveling <br />system will also be installed. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on December 3 and 6, 2004, and <br />bids were solicited.
