Some of these proj ects are in various stages of the <br />project development process and in these cases, because specific funding <br />sources had not yet been determined, they were not included in the seven- <br />year CIP. Therefore, in order to be considered for this CTFP grant <br />funding cycle, it is necessary to amend the seven-year CIP to include <br />these improvements. <br /> <br />Given the need for these street improvements and the eligibility <br />requirements defined by aCTA, staff recommends that the City Council <br />adopt the resolution authorizing submittal of these project applications <br />for funding consideration and direct staff to incorporate the projects <br />into the seven-year CIP. The City anticipates a response to the grant <br />funding request in May 2005 when the aCTA Board takes action on the call <br />for projects. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />21A-3 <br />
