Recognizing <br />that prostitution and illegal drug activity frequently involves the use of <br />vehicles as a means to engage in criminal activities, the Police <br />Department recommends establishing a new ordinance that would deter the <br />commission of such crimes and serve to abate the nuisance caused by these <br />illegal activities. Under the provisions of the proposed ordinance, <br />vehicles used to facilitate acts of prostitution or to engage in illegal <br />drug transactions would be subject to seizure, impoundment, and <br />forfeiture. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />j f. i 1\ <br />"--.Ie u..--ll '0 ~.. <br />Paul M.
