Adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency to submit projects for funding consideration under the <br />Combined Transportation Funding Programs. <br /> <br />2. Direct staff to amend the seven-year Capital Improvement Program to <br />incorporate the Combined Transportation Funding Programs projects list. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Orange County Transportation Authority (aCTA) has issued a five-year <br />call for proj ects under the Measure M Combined Transportation Funding <br />Programs (CTFP) for FY 05/06 through FY 09/10. The CTFP programs <br />designated for funding are: Regional Interchange Program (RIP) , <br />Intersection Improvement Program (lIP), Signal Improvement Program (SIP), <br />Transportation Demand Management (TDM), Master Plan of Arterial Highways <br />(MPAH) Improvements and Growth Management Area (GMA). Additionally, <br />Arterial Highway Rehabilitation Program (AHRP) call for projects was <br />issued for fiscal years 05/06 and 06/07. <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana has submitted 105 applications totaling $65.2 <br />million in grant fund requests. The City will utilize future Measure M <br />turnback and gas tax funds to provide the required matching funds for the <br />subject requested projects. <br /> <br />Staff is requesting authorization for the following proj ects, listed by <br />funding program and fiscal year(s) : <br /> <br />21A-1 <br />
