Funding is monitored <br />through a depreciation schedule established with each department. <br /> <br />Various City agencies utilize midsize pickup trucks to perform routine <br />business. The Treasury and Customer Service Division of the Finance <br />and Management Services Agency utilizes pickup trucks for the water <br />meter reading routes. The Public Works Agency's Maintenance and <br />Sanitation Inspection Division uses pickup trucks for parking control, <br />preceding the street sweepers on City roadways. Due to age, mileage <br />and condition, one 1995 S-10 pickup truck has been approved for <br />replacement in the current fiscal year. A second S-10 pickup truck is <br />a model year 2000 and in need of replacement due to a collision, <br />rendering it inoperable. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on January 10 and 12, 2005, and <br />bids were solicited.
