L. Hawn Co., Inc. for air conditioning filters <br />for a two-year period, with provision for two one-year renewals, in an <br />annual amount not to exceed $40,631. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Building Maintenance Division of the Finance and Management <br />Services Agency maintains the heating, ventilation, and air <br />conditioning (HVAC) systems in various City buildings. Air filters <br />specific to the systems are replaced several times annually to ensure a <br />clean work environment. The contract for HVAC filters is designed to <br />provide quality products at significant savings based on quantity <br />pricing. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on January 14 & 19, <br />bids were solicited.
