ACTING CITY ATTORNEY The Acting City <br />COMPENSATION Attorney was directed <br /> to prepare a Resolu- <br /> tion authorizing the <br />Acting City Attorney to receive the salary of the City <br />Attorney retroactive to May 7, 1975 until a permanent City <br />Attorney is appointed, by the motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Ortiz, and carried (6-0). <br /> <br />APPLICATIONS FOR EX-OFFICIO Mayor Garthe was <br />YOUTH MEMBERS TO BOARDS requested to seek <br />~ COMMISSIONS applications from <br /> the different high <br />schools and colleges from students living in the City of <br />Santa Ana to be youth representatives as ex-officio members <br />to each Board and Commission in the fall; on the motion <br />of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br />carried (6-0). The motion stipulated that the student must <br />be enrolled for the fall term. CA 151.12 <br /> <br />RECESS At 4:40 P.M. the <br /> Mayor recessed the <br /> meeting of the City <br /> Council for dinner <br />at Mr. Mike's; the meeting was reconvened at 7:50 P.M. with <br />all Councilmen present. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Reverend R. CA 46 <br /> <br />COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT Mrs. Bakewell, repre~ <br />CAMPFIRE GIRLS senting the Campfire <br /> Girls of Orange Ceunty, <br /> was presented with a <br />City Emblem plaque by Mayor Garthe, following a presentation <br />bM Campfire Girl members, describing the purpose and activi~ <br />ties of their organization. Their presentation included a <br />short history of the organization, and slides depicting Camp~, <br />fire programs.
