MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />June 2, 1975 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order <br />at 2:05 P.M. by Mayor John Garthe, in the Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, with the following Council members <br />present: Gordon Bricken, David F. Ortiz, Harry K. Yamamoto, <br />Vernon $. Evans, David L. Brandt, James E. Ward and Mayor <br />John Garthe. Also present were City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, <br />Acting City Attorney Charles Liberto, Director of Public Works <br />Ronald Wolford, Director of Planning Charles C. Zimmerman, <br />Police Chief Raymond Davis, and Clerk of the Council Florence <br />1. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />man Brandt. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of.All*giance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Council- <br /> <br />SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Mayor Garthe introduced <br />CITY ATTORNEY APPOINTMENT Mr. Keith Cow, Deputy <br />KEITH GOW City Attorney of the City <br /> of San Jose, and announced <br />his appointment as the City Attorney, effective July 1, 1975, <br />by unanimous Council approval. CA 81 <br /> <br /> OATH OF OFFICE The Oath of Office was <br /> DAVID RICKER administered to Mr. David <br /> PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE Ricker, 2323 North Broad- <br /> way, who was appointed <br />by Council at its regular meeting on May S, 1975, to serve on <br />the Redevelopment Project Area Committee, for a term expiring <br />-June 30, 1976. CA 82.3 <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda <br /> items were removed <br /> from the Consent Calen- <br /> dar: Item 2 C requested <br />by Councilman'Bricken.~'.Item~l', 3 C,'~ll~F,:G~ and'H; requested <br />by Councilman Ortiz; Item 7 A requested by Councilman Yamamoto; <br />~tem 11 D requested by Councilman Evans.
