<br />.." -.f <br /> <br />~-:- ~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 71-37 OF TIre CITY COUNCIL OF TIre CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA SUPPORTING TIre CONCEPT OF FAIR <br />HOUSING AND SETTING FORTH TIre INTENTION OF SAID <br />COUNCIL TO EMPLOY ALL LAWFUL MEANS WITHIN ITS <br />POWER TO ENFORCE THE FAIR HOUSING LAWS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, fair and equal access to housing is a right <br />guaranteed to all citizens by law and conscience; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the exercise of the right to obtain housing <br />without discrimination by race, creed, color, or national origin <br />is fundamental to the exercise of other rights to which all <br />citizens are entitled; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all citizens have a duty <br />in the enforcement of all laws including <br />directed toward Fair Housing; and <br /> <br />to support and assist <br />those particularly <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />public <br />uphold <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has <br />of the laws and all levels of <br />and enforce all laws; <br /> <br />the duty to inform the <br />government are sworn to <br /> <br />NOW, TIre REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That the City of Santa Ana is a city committed to the concept <br />of Fair Housing; and <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That all citizens are urged to obey the spirit and letter <br />of the laws relating to Fair Housing; <br /> <br />"I. <br /> <br />'1'11"t- "", wnrk ",.,cì cìppn. t-l1p ~i t-v nf S",.,t-."
