I , RESOLUTION NO. 74-5 A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING APPLICATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 23 OF THE UNITED STATES HOUSING ACT OF 1937, AS AMENDED, TO LOCALITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 23 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, the United States of America, acting through the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, is authorized to provide financial assistance to local public housing agencies in providing low-rent housing by leasing dwelling units in exisiting privately-owned structures; and WHEREAS, said Section 23 provides that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any locality unless the governing body of the locality has by reso- lution approved the application of such provisions to such locality; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA as follows: That. the application of the Housing Act of 1937, as amended, of California is approved. provisions of Section 23 of the United States to City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th by the following roll call vote: , 1974, day of August AYES: Ward, Griset, Garthe, Yamamoto, Patterson Evans COMMISSIONER: NOES: COMMISSIONER: ABSENT: COMMISSIONER: ATTEST: 7YJ-~ æ~ SECRETARY I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted at the Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana held this 19th day of Augus t , 1974. t1j~~ SECRETARY ~.
